I just saw the thread where the guy put a SS badge on his front bowtie... Wasn't feelin' it.

Dangit, I suck at the Internet. I was hoping to have "I want the SS hitch cover" as the first option in the poll. Whatever.

I haven't seen a debadged SS yet, but I think that would be so smooth looking. I also think taking the SS emblems and painting them bodycolor would look pretty tight too, especially on a black SS. Kinda like the way Impala SS's had monotoned emblems.

I loved Chic-Fil-A whenever I was visiting down South. I don't think we have them out here in CA.

I am removing my "white" inlays off the SS emblems, think I am going to buy the matching (Met. Silver) ones and put them on the SS's and rear Bowtie, already have the centercaps in that colr (not on yet) I got them from Grafxwerks..

No badges. I will cover the front bowtie with carbon fiber like I did with my 2000 Tahoe Limited. It will have to wait until I remove the grill the first time to change to new bulbs. I want to yank the rear bowtie and the trailblazer emblem.

same here. i thought that SS on the bowtie was a little much. the sides and the back needed that extra touch just to say "hey, look. this is not your basic TB." but the front fasia speeks for itself. i think it was ok, but just not my taste. that's why they make 31 flavors. as for my badges, i removed all except for the three SS's. less stuff to wax around the better. also i changed the front bowtie to a chromed one. absolutely hated the gold and the chrome compliments the lower ducts.

Yanked the Trailblazer emblem and rear bowtie. It looks much smoother.

How hard is it to get those things off, and just what holds on there and keeps the water from getting undernieth. I have heard that if not done properly it can cause water buildup with leads to rust.

The liftgate Trailblazer and Bowtie are held on with double sided foam tape. It is pretty strong stuff. Using heat (sunshine or blowdryer) and fishing line you can cut through the tape. Remove excess sticky tape with Goo Gone or Goof Off solvents. Be sure to wash fully with soapy water then wax the area.

I still say this is the best "rear" appearance...

I think the grafxwerks liquidome rear bowtie inlay is perfect for those who don't like the gold, but like the bowtie itself...the Met. silver matches the Silver truck perfect..

Debadging is really easy. I am a little lazy to post up the step by step. It's still to early in the morning for me. Here's what you need

10lb fishing line.
Bug and Tar Remover (safe on cars)
Hair Dryer
Micro for wipping

Fishingline/Dental floss works wonders on the Letters, just heat up for 30 sec, and Make a Saw motion behind them, and they come off in no time !!! The problem is the Sticky Glue/Anheasive left behind!!!

Watch the easy to do Video, sorry it's Subaru but you get the idea.
