Hey everyone, I have a 2006 trailblazer SS that I have owned for about a year. Yesterday I took it in to have the dash vents fixed and the oil gauge fixed because it reads 80 psi while engine is running no matter what rpm it dosent move from 80psi, The dealership said it was the oil sending unit and it would be $725 to replace. you can imagine my response. Anyway is this a big job or can a novice car guy do the job and save some doe? They said the sender was under the intake and it would need to be pulled. Any light you can shed on this would be helpfull.
