- I have had no expericen yet with the TBSS but in the past I have utilized Superchips for my vehicle and found it to be a decent gain of power coupled with exhaust and some type of cold air intake, as these tuners will adjust fuel, spark and timing. Those mods should be enough to hold someone over until bigger mods are made or that just maybe enough gain for one. You will notice a difference regardless of what tuner you decide to go with. As far as the best? Thats highly debatable and I'm sure most will say go with a tune like the vendor above. As there perameter of tuning is much more wide and more vehicle specific. Hope that helps a little.

The reason Chris suggested a search is because this topic has literally been discussed a hundred different times.
When I get on the Corvette forum... well, let's just say those things have been around a LONG time. People get touchy as hell if you bring up an old topic. Pretty funny how TBSS's are getting to be that way after only a couple of years...

If you want just a tune, no other add ons: exhaust, headers, efans, cai's, etc. the superchips handheld is an option. IMO a custom tune is the way too go because they can adjust parameters the handhelds cant. My best recomendation would be too contact one of the vendors on this website: pcmforless, adm, vector. Last time I checked pcmforless was running a sale on their tunes and some of their products. The best part of it is they have support for additional Modifications. Hope that helps... P.S. My truck verse a diablo tuned SS same track same day I was .3 to .4 tenths faster in the 1/4 same modifications.
