I guess I'll be the first to post on track impressions since I think I'm one of the few who've run the TB SS on the track. I pulled 7 runs at Irwindale 1/8th mile Dragstrip on December 9th. Track temp was about 68ish degrees. The TB SS is bone stock, AWD, LT version. Was driven 35 miles to the track then right onto the strip.

Best run:

60 foot: 2.217
330 foot: 6.261
1/8 ET: 9.576
MPH: 74.80
Launch Technique: Traction Control and Stabilitrack OFF, 3rd gear, 1.8K RPM preload

I tried a bunch of different launch techniques but couldn't get the 60 foot down below 2.2 secs. Torque Management was kicking in big time obviously. Also, I believe it would have done a tad better if I had let it cool down between runs. It was at full operating temp during each run.

BTW, my strip driving experience is moderate to high. I have many runs on my mid 13sec (1/4mile) Monte Carlo SS.

All in all.. I was a bit disappointed (was hoping for low 9 or high 8 second passes). I'm sure it's capable of doing that.. just need the tune that Chris is doing first! driving.gif

Leave it in drive, it may shortshift in third. I've gotten consistant 2.0 60's and 8.9-9.0 in the 1/8th when I Was stock. Dont fret, the tune will likely be available to the public Friday smile.gif With the tune I can spin the fronts at will from a dig, serious increase smile.gif
